Teaching Philosophy

As an educator, I feel that teaching is both an art and a calling. I believe that education is a lifelong endeavor for students and teachers. In addition to sharing what I have learned, I hope to set an example of perseverance, curiosity, and creativity in my teachings.

My goal as a teacher is to create an environment that is stimulating and engaging for my students. Students in my classroom are encouraged to perceive challenges as opportunities for growth and development. It is my responsibility to acknowledge and develop each student's abilities in a way they are able to flourish.

Continuous professional development is key to farthing my education practices. To accommodate my students' wide range of requirements, I am always looking for better ways to teach, am careful about how I use technology in the classroom, and regularly evaluate my own performance.  I value collaboration with colleagues, learning communities, and staying informed on educational research to enhance my teaching.

First and foremost, I am committed to fostering a supportive and respectful classroom culture where students feel valued and empowered to take ownership of their learning. I believe that when teachers model a passion for learning, students are inspired to pursue knowledge with curiosity and confidence.

Teaching is a journey—one where both teacher and student grow. I embrace this journey with enthusiasm and dedication, knowing that each day is a new opportunity to learn, inspire, and make a meaningful impact.

Websites, Talents, About

Keeping Connections in Kinder is the website I created and designed to keep in contact with all my parents. Parents were able to see things being done in the classroom as well as see weekly newsletters if they missed an email.
As a teacher I liked to think of myself as a Gray Matter Engineer. Where I am able to mold the mind to create intelligent, empowering, and thoughtful children to become the future leaders of tomorrow.

While I was in the early years of creating my family. I wanted a career that could be flexible and still give me all the time I wanted with my babies. I self taught myself photography starting with the camera and then moving into the editing. After a few years I began digital design where I created custom invitations and other coordinating items for various events. You can see samples on my website by clicking the logo above.

Aside from teaching I have held positions such as Administrative Assistant to Assistant General Manager. I have always found that other employees have looked to me for answers to questions or even to get a task completed. My compassion and dedication to any job I pursue shines through and makes me reliable and trustworthy.
